Our client is an avid gardener, with many winter evenings spent scribbling garden designs in his notebook. A draftsman by trade, he came to us with an idea: could that be created in an app? A CAD for your garden, but one that tracked what you grow, helped manage crop rotations and gave you all the information about what you are growing.
A simple yes from us was all that was needed.
We sat with the client for just over two hours while he explained his idea. We merged that with our years of experience designing systems and created a specification. That was approved, and we built it. Really no-nonsense.
We are now building more functionality into the app, which will launch as Version 2.
Now our client is designing his veg plot on the app, as are many others.
