We created a one-stop-shop for Therapy providers, fully integrated with all the tools they need to run their practice, one subscription, one central location. Built by Therapists for Therapists.
The conversation started with 'would it be possible', we love these conversations, as the answer is almost always yes! Would it be possible to build a platform where Therapists have a profile, everyone pays the same, fixed monthly cost, there is no 'who bids the most' or 'who has the most funds to buy leads', a single, simple Subscription payment per month, leaving it down to the Therapist to respond to clients in their own way.
This built further into a platform that contains everything a Therapist needs to run their practice, client onboarding, session booking and management, online video conferencing with the same functionality as Teams/Zoom, Therapist notes, CPD tracking and more. And so, Talk First was born.
We built a detailed specification, including additional functionality that we thought would enhance the offering for Talk First. Within the specification, we included interface designs for the whole system. A document which ran to 80 pages. This provided the basis for the client's ideas to continue to formulate.
The specification was transformed into a prototype containing most of the features, allowing the clients to role-play with the system while we built the Video Conferencing and other embedded functionality within the system.
This project has a complex server infrastructure to handle the video conferencing and integration with mail servers to allow messaging either within the system or directly from email.
A hugely complex system which delivers exactly what the client wanted. A one-stop shop containing everything that is needed for a Therapist to run their practice.
The Talk First platform is what, as a therapist I have been looking for, it didn't exist so with Matt's help we have built it! Simply Amazing.
